The Weather Channel is predicting the exact opposite. A warmer than average September and October for basically the entire country. Thoughts?

Has anyone noticed that the leaves on the trees started to change in the middle of July? Especially areas where there was droughts.

The squirrels are digging more and hiding food earlier than normal. Dogs fur coats are already shedding their summer coats and the leaves are starting to turn already. Mother nature is already telling us about the upcoming seasons on the way.

Been saying this for weeks, The early leaves started falling off 3 weeks early. Even the crape myrtle trees bloomed early. Summer actually come sooner too. I remember in may it was like 95 degrees weeks to early. NC here.

Syracuse, New York, here. Already in the second week of August, some of the maple trees already had some leaves change color. That's early!

You can already tell it’s gonna be an early fall. The leave tips are already turning yellow.

But. .the weather channel says it's gonna be hotter than normal... what do you say to that ???

I welcome some cooler temperatures in the North East. I'm in central PA and I hate it when summer hangs on with 80s into the first week of October. Enough already. I remember deer hunting in the first week of November once, and it was 80 degrees. The only thing moving was gnats and mosquitos. And how do you field dress the venison and keep it from going bad before you get a chance to process it? One year in the early 1990s I was riding my motorcycle on February 3rd and it was 80 degrees then too. You want to stop to cool off but there were no leaves on any of the trees yet. Crazy.

I said a couple of months ago that I think we will have a early fall. I walk daily and I could tell by the feel in the weather.
